Living in Lekki, Lagos

Lekki is Lagos's fastest-growing luxury corridor, a long peninsula stretching east of Victoria Island that has transformed dramatically since the early 2000s. Lekki Phase 1 and the Lekki Conservation Area anchor the western end, while Chevron Drive, VGC (Victoria Garden City), and Ikota form the middle belt, and Ajah and Abraham Adesanya occupy the eastern end. The area attracts young professionals, tech workers, and upper-middle-class families seeking modern apartment living at slightly lower price points than Ikoyi or Victoria Island. Lekki's real estate market is characterised by rapid new development — estates, gated blocks of flats, and luxury duplexes continue to launch regularly. Rental yields are strong, particularly for well-managed 2–3 bedroom serviced apartments along Admiralty Way and Lekki-Epe Expressway. The ongoing Free Trade Zone development is expected to increase commercial activity and housing demand in the coming years.
